Hi Guys,

I got an error message like below while checking the agent status.

Command executed from the management server:
root# opcragt <Node Name>

Error Message:

Cannot get status information from node (OpC40-428)
Network communication problems occurred. (OpC40-427)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
CTRL - CommunicationException:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(ctrl-21) Communication error when executing 'Status' method.
(xpl-118) recv() on 'XXXXX:383' failed.
(RTL-131) Connection reset by peer (OpC40-2130)
Failed.

Kindly help me to resolve it.

Hi Ice,

I have checked the port 383 is open by telnet the managed server from management server and viceversa in managed server both are working fine. Also checked the coreID all are same.

What can be done next....

can you give me the last 20 lines of system.txt

This is a windows machine and i cant see the path which you have given.

which version of OVO you are using?

The file should be avalable in that path. or can you search for the file?

is it a Windows node or HP-UX?
