CoreId mismatch problem
Hi Guys,

I was facing CoreId mismatch problem against one managed node. So I was trying to align the CoreId of the managed node on the OVO management server as it appeared on the managed node.

I tried to execute the command "opcnode -chg_id" but itfailed with no details. Now I am wondering why it failed and how to fix it up.

Commands executed on the Managed node.
Code:
bash-3.00# ./ovcoreid
c0d513b4-1635-7546-1491-cc9e9dae0bc6

Comands executed on the OVO Server
Code:
opcnode -chg_id node_name=NodeA id=c0d513b4-1635-7546-1491-cc9e9dae0bc6

Changing ID of 'NodeA' to 'c0d513b4-1635-7546-1491-cc9e9dae0bc6' failed.

RE: CoreId mismatch problem
Hi ,

Do it in mgmt server:

bbcutil -ping http://Node_Name

http://Node_Name
status=eServiceOK coreID=<core_id> bbcV=05.20.050 appN=ovbbccb appV=05.20.050 conn=2 time=946 ms

then do ,

opcnode -chg_id id=<core_id> node_name=Node_Name
