Could not start the OSD NT Downtime service
Hello ,,


i am getting this error message:

Could not start the OSD NT Downtime service on <hostname>.

Error 3: The system cannot find the path specified.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

How can i solve this error?

The datasources might not have been installed.. please check if the basic DSI is installed!!!

you can go for re-installation of SYSDOWNT DSI again.

copy the dsi package to the node .

stop ovpa and coda
ovpacmd stop all
ovc -stop coda

then remove the folder under c:\Program files\HP openview\data\datafiles\Downt

then remove the sysdownt entry in perflbd.mwc file too

now install the sysdownt dsi {This new installation will automatically remove the OSD NT dodntime service and install a new one}

start ovpa and coda
ovpacmd start all
ovc -start coda
