Hello all,
I am building a solution to integrate custom messages into OVO using opcmsg. I want to developer an heartbeat mechanism to alarm on the console if a message is not received in the console in 5 minutes for the node(s) that is running opcmsg. The idea is to have a cron that sends a specific opcmsg heartbeat message every 5 min and a process/profile in the managed node checks when was the last message received for this node and send an alert if it is more than 5 min. Does it make sense? I have all process complete except the part that reads the OVO database and check when it was the last message received from the node. Do we have any command on OVO that queries the database? Thank you, Gerson Garcia |
